For larger exterior timber projects that demand rich colour and long-lasting protection, Sadolin Extra Jacobean Walnut 2.5L is a trade-grade woodstain built for professional results. It enhances the natural timber grain while providing durable protection against rain, UV, and the challenging Irish climate.

Manufactured by Sadolin, Sadolin Extra is trusted by tradespeople for its excellent colour retention and robust performance. The Jacobean Walnut shade delivers a deep, traditional brown finish — ideal for fences, gates, sheds, cladding, and pergolas where a bold, heritage look is required.

TJ’s Tip:

For best results, apply over a prepared base of Sadolin Classic, particularly on bare or highly absorbent timber. Two full coats of Extra give maximum protection and a rich, even finish. Always treat end grains and cut edges generously — these areas are the most vulnerable to moisture ingress.
