For larger timber projects that need reliable protection from the ground up, Sadolin Classic Teak 2.5L is a trade-proven basecoat built for Irish conditions. This deeply penetrating woodstain protects exterior timber from within while delivering a rich teak tone that enhances natural grain and adds warmth to any outdoor space.

Manufactured by Sadolin, Classic is specially formulated to provide long-lasting defence against moisture and weathering. The Teak shade offers a deeper golden-brown finish — ideal for fencing, sheds, pergolas, cladding and exterior joinery where a stronger timber definition is required.

TJ’s Tip:

For best results on bare or highly absorbent timber, apply a full, even coat of Classic before finishing with Sadolin Extra. Pay particular attention to end grains and joints — these areas absorb more stain and need thorough coverage for long-term protection.

When you buy a large appliance, we’ll collect your old one for free through WEEE Ireland. Please ensure it is uninstalled, disconnected, and ready for pickup. This right to return does not apply to products that are non stock and only available to order such as catalogued doors, catalogued bathroomware and mixed paints which are made especially for your order.
