For access points in light-duty areas such as garden paths, patios, and pedestrian zones, the Galvanized Recessed Manhole Cover is the ideal solution. This unit provides secure, discreet access to your underground drains while allowing you to infill the lid with your choice of material (e.g., paving slabs or concrete) to match the surrounding finish.
Certified to the A15 loading class (up to 1.5 tonnes), this cover is designed purely for foot traffic and is unsuitable for vehicle use. The galvanized steel frame and lid offer superior protection against rust and corrosion.

    Key Features:

    • A15 Pedestrian Load Class: Strictly for foot traffic areas (patios, paths, gardens). Not suitable for driveways.
    • Recessed Design: The lid features a tray (approx. 43.5mm depth) that can be infilled to blend seamlessly with your surrounding ground finish.
    • Galvanized Finish: Both the frame and lid are galvanized to provide exceptional long-term resistance to rust and weather.
    • Standard Size: Designed to fit existing or new standard inspection chamber openings of approximately 18" x 24".
    • Easy Installation: Comes as a complete unit (frame and lid) for straightforward bedding into a mortar base.
