The floor in any building is an area of considerable downward heat loss when not properly insulated. Thin-R Underfloor will significantly improve the U-Value of new and existing floors.
Thin-R Underfloor is lightweight, easy to install and combines high compressive strength with low thermal conductivity, providing a high performance solution for floor insulation.
Unilin Thin-R XT/PR_UF is a high-performance rigid PIR board for insulating ground-supported and suspended floors. This straight-edge board measures 2400 x 1200 x 150mm and covers 2.88m².
The PIR core and low-emissivity foil facings provide low thermal conductivity while maintaining the compressive strength required beneath suitable screed and floor constructions. The board is also compatible with correctly designed underfloor-heating systems.
It is suited to new-build and refurbishment work across concrete slab, beam-and-block, hollow-core and suspended timber floors, subject to the specified floor build-up.
